I show up in the world in three main ways, but they all come from one heart, one deep well of experience and conviction: diseased imagination is killing us—and the world as we know it. My work is about healing the imagination so that new ways of being, leading, and living become possible.

I address the world in three ways:

• R.E.S.T. Mixtape – A framework for spiritual fugitivity, transformation, and embodied liberation.

• Soulful Leadership Project – A hub for leadership that is ethical, radical, and deeply human, cultivating self-trust, integrity, and resilience.

​

• Sub:Culture Inc. – A reparations-based movement providing holistic support for Black students, ensuring their survival, success, and flourishing.

 

These three expressions of my work all flow from the same source: a belief that our imagination is the site of both captivity and liberation—and that healing our imagination is the key to real, lasting transformation.

 

I don’t show up as one thing in one place and something else in another. Whether I’m writing, teaching, or building spaces of refuge, I bring my full self to the work.

 

My heart is for the outcasts, the fugitives, the seekers, and the ones who can’t quite fit into the boxes they were given.

I like to say I wear a “light jacket” called Christianity—I appreciate what it offers for navigating empire’s harsh conditions, but I’ll never throw it at you. I don’t expect you to carry my theology.
