I'm Tamice. 

​

I move through the world as a speaker, a learning facilitator, a pastor, and a spiritual director/coach. Each of these roles flows from the same deep well—one heart, one core conviction:

 

Diseased imagination is killing us—and the world as we know it.

​

My scholarly work centers on identifying and healing the ways diseased imagination distorts how we know, how we see, and how we be.

It’s about creating the conditions where new ways of leading, living, and becoming are not only possible—but sustainable, embodied, and liberating.

​

In addition to founding a nonprofit that serves students with marginalized identities, I also run a company called Mixtape Praxus.

 

It's a studio for liberation where we develop frameworks, design learning experiences, and build tools to hold space for change, togetherness, and imagination.

​

The Core Frameworks at Mixtape Praxus include: 

 

• R.E.S.T. Mixtape – A framework for spiritual fugitivity, transformation, and embodied liberation—rooted in truth-telling, ethical imagination, and ancestral wisdom.

• Soulful Leadership Theory – A model for leadership that is ethical, radical, and deeply human—cultivating somatic intelligence, self-trust, and resonance for those leading at the edges.

• Sub:Culture Fellows –A reparations-based, year-long leadership journey for Black college students. Sub:Culture licenses curriculum from Mixtape Praxis and retains our services as an ongoing partner—because our expertise speaks directly to the needs of students navigating survival, success, and sacred becoming.

Mixtape Praxus products and services are birthed from the conviction that  since our imagination is the site of both captivity and liberation.  healing the diseased elements of our imagination—our epistemologies, our intuition, our sacred inner knowing—is the key to real, lasting social transformation.  

 

My heart is for the outcasts, the fugitives, the exiles, the wanderers, the seekers, and the ones who can’t quite fit into the boxes they were given.
